Imperial Samson

2011 North American Champion Drum Horse and High Point Drum Horse winner!

Introducing....Imperial Samson, 4 time North American Championship Drum Horse and High Point winner in 2011, plus GCDHA Champion Drum horse 2010, inspected and licensed by GCDHA. He is only a 4 year old, and his first foal is due in 2012.

Samson, currently standing 17 hh, is a best of breed Champion, multi-class winner in Halter and under Saddle and Champion Drum Horse several times over. He is also Inspected and Licensed for Breeding by GCDHA, awarded very high scores for a young, draft stallion. The judges commented on his very high potential in future.

Samson is a very intelligent horse, easy to handle and with a mischievous but calm & friendly temperament. Look into his eyes and you can read his mind. His conformation and movement is all dressage. He was bred for conformation excellence and quality of movement under saddle, like his sire and dam Imperial Xena. He is loves an audience and is a true gentleman, attracting a lot of attention wherever he goes.

Samson is one of the best and last Drum horse son's of the infamous Galway Warrior, out of our own Imperial Xena (foundation ADHA & GCDHA shire mare). He is 1/8th Gypsy cob and 7/8th Shire breeding and is bay and white tobiano. He is heterozygous for the tobiano TO gene, and homozygous for black EE, with Agouti Aa.
