Imperial Xena

Xena is our beautiful, grey shire mare who is now possibly the most famous mare in our local area. Xena foaled a fabulous Drum horse colt by Galway Warrior in May 2007. Warrior was formerly owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Great Britain. You can see her colt, Samson, on our Foals page.
Xena is a classy gentle grey mare, with floating, stylish movement quite unusual in a heavy draft mare. She was one of only 3 non-gypsy mares chosen to breed to the legendary gypsy stallion The Lion King in 2008. The tragic and untimely death of this wonderful stallion in March has meant a change of plans, but we will still get our LK bloodlines into our program courtesy of the fabulous Lion King's Legacy, also of BFSGH. Xena's 2009 foal by Legacy will be available for purchase in-utero soon.
Morgandale’s Ray of Hope

Hope came to us from Michigan in autumn 2006. She has quality Armageddon breeding lines and although a smaller clyde at 16.2 hh, she has superb fluid movement not typical of a heavy draft mare. Hope is a very gentle soul who adores people but has quite a mischievous streak!
In 2007 she was bred to the gorgeous Gypsy Stallion, St Clarins. He is a 15hh chocolate palomino son of "The Boss" and carries the silver dapple gene. Hope foaled a gorgeous silver dapple bay colt in June and you can see him on Our Foals page!
Summer’s Diamond
Dream

‘
Dreamer’ is our big, hairy dark bay sabino Clydesdale filly who’s already reached over 17 hh at only 3 years of age. She is a very hairy mare, quite the character, and will make a wonderful addition to our Drum horse breeding program in future.
Imperial Mia

Mia is a shire/percheron cross mare who came to us in summer 2006 with her then 3 week old spotted draft baby, Jewel. Although not ‘hairy’ enough for breeding drum horses, Mia produced such a fabulous baby we decided to breed her to a Friesian stallion for a 2008 Friesian sport horse. The lucky sire is the superb 17hh First Premie FPS stallion ‘Friso the Magnificent', from Friesian Harts of Texas. On 30th April, she 'did us proud' once again and produced a stunning black friesian sport horse colt, called Imperial Sonrise. Sonny can be seen on Our Foals page.
