Imperial Xena

Xena is our beautiful, grey shire mare show stands about 16.3hh and is registered with the GCDHA and ADHA. She is
a classy gentle grey mare, with stylish movement and nice extension, which is quite unusual in a heavy draft mare. She has foaled two top quality drum foals for us. She had a wonderful Galway Warrior Drum colt in 2007. Imperial Samson is a 'keeper' and may become a herd stallion in future. More of Samson on our Foals page. In 2009, she had another top class colt, this time by gypsy stallion, Lion King's Legacy. More of Imperial Prince Harry on our Foals page! Xena will be bred to Friesian stallion Friso the Magnificent in 2010.
Morgandale’s Ray of Hope

Hope came to us from Michigan in autumn 2006. She has quality Armageddon breeding lines and although a smaller clyde at 16.2 hh, she has superb fluid movement not typical of a heavy draft mare. Hope is a very gentle soul who adores people but has quite a mischievous streak!
In 2007 she was bred to the gorgeous Gypsy Stallion, St Clarins, owned by Celeste Huston. He is a 15.1hh chocolate palomino son of "The Boss" and carries the silver dapple gene. Hope foaled a stunning silver dapple bay colt 'Teddy' in June 2008 and you can see him on Our Foals page! Hope is bred to St Clarins again for 2010 and her foal may be available in utero in future.
Cici's Diamond Lily

Lily is a very classy yearling gypsy filly. She's out of Cici's Dottie Lady by St Clarins, so has quite the pedigree and she shows it! Lily is a big girl, destined to end up around 15.2hh or thereabouts. She's the first Imperial gypsy filly and has already made her mark on the herd! She's an angel (except when stirring up trouble and chasing the boys), but prefers to hang out with her human herd for hugs!
Imperial Persephone
Imperial Persephone (aka 'Penny') is one of our two shire fillies. A purebred shire, she is unusual because of her chestnut (sorrel) coloring which has all but been bred out of the modern shire. Penny is DNA color tested and is ee Aa. One day, Penny may just produce a palomino Drum foal if bred to the right gypsy stallion with the Cr gene.
Imperial Serenity

Half sister to Persephone, Serenity (aka 'Sophie') is another chestnut purebred shire filly by sorrel shire stallion Wandamere Patches. Sophie is a darling: quiet, calm and unassuming she's a little taller than Penny as a yearling and growing like a weed!. Sophie has also been DNA color tested and is ee aa. One day, Sophie may also produce a palomino Drum foal.
